Top - Dorothy Perkins Half Sleeve Burn-out Top (get it here
Shorts - Chicwish
Shoes - Converse
Title says it all. I'm burning out.
Trying to juggle work, uni, mentoring and a boyfriend (and can I say medium-high social life) is definitely a work out. Running from uni to work has been my weekly exercise. Who needs the gym, right?!
So hold up, why is it mid-March already? Because I don't remember telling 2014 to go this fast. I was talking to my other half last night on how it feels like December 31st was a week ago, and how it's possible to have skimmed through the past three months. I'm on my last year of uni, turning 21, and will probably be a struggling interior and spatial designer working a casual job selling bras. Is it selfish of me to feel old already and as if my life is about to disappear?
In the midst of my early-mid-life-crisis, I got my hands on this beautiful half sleeve top from THE ICONIC and I'm absolutely in love with it. It's soooooo comfortable. Get one now and sleep in it and you will thank me.

Shorts - Gifted
Boots - Camper
Cardigan - UNIQLO
I think I could've gotten a cup of coffee if I charged 10c to all the people who said 'I can see your bra' to me today. Then they seem to have to justify themselves and say 'But it's pretty'. #notsureifcompliment
Nevertheless, here's another monochrome look for you - because I know just how much you like them. #canievenwearcolournow

Back To You
Bralet - Cotton On
Top - MINK

One of my new year resolutions this year was to love the body that I've been given. Being the leader of the itty-bitty-titty club, sometimes it's hard to embrace that. Going past all the "what boobs?" and 'my chest is so flat an airplane can land on it' jokes, I realised there is something great about having a small bust.
I don't need to wear a bra.
And I don't have to worry about anything popping out. Can I just say I praised and danced a little when I wore this outfit because it's so, damn, comfortable. I used to get so envious of people who have nice boobs, and would try to find the best push-up bra on earth to put some meat on my chest. But by slowly accepting my bust size or lack thereof, I have developed a sense of style that not only makes me feel confident, but extremely comfortable.
I strongly believe the best thing a girl can wear is confidence (and a smile). There really isn't much point trying to impress people if it's not you. I used to avoid anything with a v-neck or low-cut, but now it seems like that's all I'm getting!
Loving myself step number one: check.
Have a good week, love others, but most importantly, love yourself.
Till the next one,

Who would've known a rainy day made me get out of bed and post something up for you. I just came back from my two week (much needed but not enough) holiday with my other half, and so I've been pretty much catching up on sleep, slowly unpacking everyday (one item a couple of hours is a pat on the back for me) and spending some time with my meows- and my meows I mean cats guys.
Hope everyones February have been going well- I know uni starts next week for me and I'm both excited and scared shitless that this is going to be my final year. I am too young to graduate- can I even say that? Speaking of graduating, I got a haircut! Ha, like thats totally related. But yes, I've chopped it off again despite me making my friends promise me never to let me cut my hair again.
Year 2014 is the year of changes my friends, and I started this year off with a fresh new straight cut, a holiday to Japan and Hong Kong, and a huge cleaning of my wardrobe. I found this crinkled skirt in the bottom of my drawer and I thought 'Yeh, why not wear a crinkled skirt out #yolo' #ihatehashtags.
But anyway, back to the cleaning, I looked at everything and asked myself if I've worn it in the past year, and if I haven't, straight into the charity bag it goes. If I'm doubting whether I can let it go, I ask myself whether I can pair that clothing in 3 different outfits both day and night. Yes, keep, no, charity.
It's really good to finally do this clean because I continually have clothes coming in and I swear to you, my wardrobe might explode and kill me one day.
On a more positive note, I hope you are all doing splendidly, do some cleaning, wear some crinkled clothes, and stay safe.

I know I know, I've been horrible this year. I promised big things for this blog in which I could not fulfil again. Maybe my new year resolution should have been to stop making promises.
Promises aside, I hope each and every one of you have had a great start to January 2014. I can't believe the first month is nearly over...before we know it, we're going to be counting down to 2015. Eek.
In the meantime, I have been working, sleeping, eating, reading, sleeping....and yeh, working. I have come to the conclusion my life is like this: Sleep. Eat. Work. Repeat.
And those are the good days. On days I don't work, I think it's a little something like this: Sleep. Eat. Stay in bed. Repeat. I have taken the mattress out to extend my single to a double bed and I think it's making me more lazier than ever. I do everything from getting dressed (and undressed hey), eating, reading, doing my makeup - basically everything on my bed - it's starting to get a little out of hand. Somebody needs to get me checked out (ha).
But I'm enjoying the solitude - one of the things on my to do list before I die; much inspired from the movie A Walk To Remember (yep, that's how bad I've gotten). Everyone needs a list of things they want to achieve before they die. I find that writing the list changes when you realise how much time you have left. For example, I think before, I'd have written "Getting good grades" easily as the first on the list- but as I have gotten older (I'd like to use the word 'mature' here, but who are we kidding really), I've written stuff down like Enjoy Solitude, Forgive Someone, Doing something good for someone I don't like, etc etc. It makes me feel good to know I have a set of goals and when I do happen to achieve them.
So tell me, what would you like to do before you die? Make it a good list.
Till the next one, x.

Alice Cerea of Baby What's Up
She describes herself as a "young girl that is divided between love and passion, web and fashion." Alice Cerea of Baby What's Up?
is a fashionable 19 year old living in Bergamo, an Italian city near Milan.
Recently, we've noticed each other in the blogosphere and decided to just introduce each other on our respective blogs. Her blog is all about fashion, beauty and lifestyle and she loves to create outfits with particular accessories. She doesn't have a particular style (which is similar to me, and which is something I love about her) and she changes styles everyday from chic to rock!
Her motto is "Stay Strong" and she also has a matching tattoo in those words. I find that so beautiful and you can tell by her blog and collaborations that she's committed, super motivated and definitely talented! She sees herself as a strong and determined girl and believes everything she does until the end, which is something to be admired.
Like me, she's been in a long relationship with her boyfriend but she's also been happily engaged since 2009! Extremely beautiful, kind-hearted and awesome, follow her on her blog for more of this girl!
