Blouse - ZARA
Leather Skirt - The Iconic
Mary Janes - Yesstyle
Bag - Balenciaga City Bag
Before I break out into what is one of the best songs ever (Empire State of Mind), I'd like to take a moment and appreciate these wonderful Mary Jane Platform Heels from Yesstyle. I've always been a little hesitant on wearing platforms because my feet and ankles decided to be reallllllllly thin and small and wearing anything remotely bigger than my foot size will just look odd. But besides me tripping over because I'm clearly not made for heels, I've gotten nothing but compliments from these babies.
Between my pasty legs and me trying out other awkward positions, I've probably tried just about everything I could to put off university work this week. My mind doesn't seem to understand that when an assessment is due, I have to physically do it. Hm.
I hope your week has been far more productive than mine.
Till the next one,

Boohoo Wardrobe Bingo!
A while ago I got asked by Boohoo to participate in this fashion challenge! There's been a huge delay in getting all the photos up and I apologise that it's taken me so long to put this post up!
Anyways, let me properly introduce myself. I'm Vivian and I'm a 20 year old student studying in Sydney, Australia. I study a degree in Interior and Spatial Design and no, I don't enjoy it but I'm still trying to figure out my life so everything's just as it is for the moment.. I have a huge interest in fashion and I believe what we wear says a lot about us. I don't think dressing up or down needs to have a reason and although I've been told I "dress-up" a lot when I'm at uni, I think it's not the fact I'm trying to "look good" or impress people with the clothes I have, but that I genuinely think that in order for oneself to feel good, the first step is to be completely comfortable with who you are. And for me, that is being able to express myself through fashion and sometimes I just want to have fun with what I can wear.
For this challenge, we were asked to pull out some of our wardrobe and play a fashion version of Bingo! I did this challenge a little differently- as throughout this winter I've had a lot of staple pieces from my wardrobe, so instead of random bits and bobs, I decided to combine my winter favourites and this challenge together. So below are some of the pieces I've been loving all winter and I will provide the details under each category!
Let the game begin! (how 'Hunger Games' does that sound?
Leather Jacket - River Island from ASOS
Blue Cable Knit Jumper - Chicabooti
Black Jacket - Asian store overseas
Denim Blouse with Pearls - Forever 21
Monochrome Blouse - ZARA
Denim Blouse with Leather - Forever 21
Denim Blouse with Pocket - ZARA
White Blouse - ASOS
Asymmetrical Skirt with Crosses - H&M
Diamond Skirt - ALAND
Leather Skater Skirt - Random store
Only one pair of shoes for this category only because I literally have only been wearing these!
And after using a random number generator, I got the numbers 3, 4 and 4 and this is the outfit below!
I think the outfit turned out pretty well, and it's definitely a combination I would personally make! That skirt is a huge statement piece and is definitely the highlight of the outfit. The denim blouse isn't overpowering and compliments the skirt, toning it down a little and giving a more laid-back vibe. I like this outfit and if you do too, please hype me here!
Had heaps of fun participating in this challenge and I hope there will be more of these to come.

Hey Mr. Hilfiger
Striped Crop Top - H&M
Knitted Cardigan - Abercrombie & Fitch
Knit Scarf - Tommy Hilfiger
Hope everyone's week have been much better than mine! Uni life has officially taken over me and I'm still in "holiday-mode". Winter is sneaking away here in Sydney and so I'm trying to wear as many scarves I can possibly can without getting neck-sweat! Scarves are such a great way to dress up an outfit, and it can instantly make you seem like you've put that extra bit of effort into your outfit. This knitted scarf from Tommy Hilfiger is so warm and I love the colour combination! It's a perfect combo for winter and the stripes give that extra statement. Pattern on pattern sometimes scare me but I think the difference in stripes make this combo somewhat complimentary.
What are your staple scarves for Winter? Tommy is definitely one for me!
